Eiichiro Oda the creator of one piece, did he make any more anime? cause the anime I'm watching right now (lovely complex) has his distinct style. I thought this would be the best place to ask.
Oda doesn't make anime...
He's a manga author...
And no. The only non One Piece manga he's done were a number of short manga stories made in his college/pre-OP years, they're collected in a book called quot;Wanted!quot;. Ones a Wild West thing, another is about a guy who finds a note God wrote, ones a medival japanese horror thing, and the last is about a swordsman named Ryuma.
As for Lovely Complex..
The manga looks nothing like One Piece.

I don't really see the resemblance in the anime either.

But if theres something making you go quot;hmmmquot; its probably because the same animation studio (Toei) is doing both adaptions.
is there anywhere online to read wanted and the other one? im totally intersted.
I'd say it's the voices that's sparking something in your mind.
The red-headed girl with the braids and bun has Nami's seiyu,Akemi Okamura.
And the way it's drawn with sideview may show something, too.
But like Zephos said--it's probably just the studio.
Damn this thread fails
Yeah. Like Zephos stated, it's being animated by Toei and the same studio who makes One Piece in Toei.
He used to work as an assistant for the guy who wrote Rorouni Kenshin. And did a few one shots. But other than that, no. |
