You can't say anything about Saiyuki if you never even read it, so you know nothing about Taisei.

Zero's stuck in game mechanics, and he's not fast enough. The little herectic blitzes him until he breaks down (that, or his head gets torn off).

Zero can freeze time. And reploids are wayyy more durible than fleshy beings

Homura, Shien and Zenon are WAYYY more durable than fleshy beings (?) and they get harmed by Seiten Taisei. Zero would be no exception.
