7 Legendary Swordsmen

What title does this mean in Naruto? It doesnt seem like an all big thing to me...

The 7 Swordmen are the Elite Shinobi Protectors of the Daimyo of the Water Country.   Spoiler:
Just like the 12 Protectors that Asuma and Chiruku were a member of, who protect the Fire Daimyo.

This group was the Kirigakure equivlent to the Sannin.  Second only to the Mizukage.  One of these swordsmen believed he was strong enough to abdicate the Mizukage.

I think this person could very well be kisame, seeing he uses alot of water attacks.

well, tyrannos answered it already...the jap term is 7 shinobi gatana no kirigakure...

does anyone else want to know more about the seven swordsmen of the mist?

absolutely, I hope they introduce a new swordman soon in the manga. Zabuza and Kisame rock, i want to see more nice big swords.

If we get more swordsmen It'll prolly be filler-shit like Raiga

I have always been interested about the swordsmen I would love to see the rest introduced.

There are 4 more of the swordsmen that have not yet shown up. The ones we know of are Kisame, Zabuza and Raiga. I have to assume that Kisame is the strongest of them.

raiga was in a filler, he doesnt count, plus he uses lighting when they're from the Water country

I have a feeling if we ever see the Mizukage of the Hidden Mist, he'll end up being a former member of the Seven Swordsmen. And I bet the rest sort of act like Gate Keepers or the Village's most Elite Jounins.

Who are the other four(I know Zabuza,Kisame,Raiga)??

No. Zabuza and Kisame are the only two known members of the Legendary Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. Raiga is filler and anime only, he is not a cannon character nor a part of the manga.

The situations and current status of the rest of the Seven Swordsmen are currently unknown. But I'm willing to believe that at least a couple of them hang around the Hidden Mist.

It would be better  if the 7 legendary swordsmen were also from other countries

No. They are from the Hidden Mist. That would be rather weird and backwards, as all the Hidden Villages generally are distrustful of each other. ie. Sand and Stone have had wars with Leaf, Cloud hates the Leaf and the Mist seems to hate everyone.

raiga doesnt count seeing as it was in a filler. Besides he used lightening and had only 1 water jutsu.

Yeah, but how will they explain Raiga in the Anime, if Kishi reveals the other Swordsmen? I don't believe we will ever seem 'em, maybe one as Mizukage.
As bad as the fillers are, I highly doubt they would create a character with a canon-related background if that character might be revelead to don't have this connection. Thus, I don't think we'll see all of the Swordsmen.
