Sai's voice actor revealed?

There's been a rumor going around about Sai's voice actor. According to many sites, Sai will be voiced by Masumi Asano(not Mayumi Asano!) I honestly hope this is true because Sai isn't the type of character to be voiced by a male. I don't care if they state how much he sounds like Sasuke in the manga!

Meh, it's a rumor, just like the Wasabi Mizuta for Deidara thing.

I didn't hear that one actually.

Maybe, maybe not, but as I said in the first post, it's just a rumor that's been floating around.

Rumor or not, right now this belongs to the manga section.

I put it here in the TV section because the anime starts in a few weeks.

Why not, because he wears a top that exposes his naval?  The serious and somber characters such as Sasuke, Neji, Shino, Gaara and yes, Sai are typically the ones who AREN'T voiced by women, because they are meant to sound more mature.  If you're really basing it character types, he should definitely be voiced by a male.Originally Posted by Sakura amp; Hinata fanI put it here in the TV section because the anime starts in a few weeks.

Sai probably won't appear in the anime for several months

Sai is also a feminine character which is why giving him a female seiyuu would work more. For me, if he had a male seiyuu, it'd be like Digimon with 10 year olds that sound 30. It just wouldn't seem right.

No, it's not. They've already got episodes animated and voiced up to near the end of the 2nd Part II story arc, based upon the last bit of info that I read about it, so it's probably further along at this point. Meaning, they already have the VA for that character, and others, picked out.

case in point...anime only people have no idea who sai is thus they will be spoiled.
