Deidara Verses Kisame win, his, against, another, similar

So who's win?

Flying: Not impossibly high that Kisame could never reach.  About tree-level, similar to his height against Kakashi and Naruto.

Prep Time: Yes.  but no #18

Scenario: Where Kisame fought Team Gai.  Midnight, overcast (almost pure dark)

Qualms about killing another Akatsuki member:  Heck no.  There'd be no fun if there were.

Kisame would lose since as i recall fish and bombs dont do very well

If Deidara can stay out of Kisame's range, he can win but I can't decide at this point.

Well considering Kisama is the weakest of the Akasuki to begin with, I'd say Deidara would win this battle. I mean if Itachi can kill Kisama, i know Deidara could.

who said that kisame was the weakest out the Akatsuki?

anyway kisame could win by his strenght and crazy amount of chakra

But Kisame is generally a close-ranged fighter, while Deidara is a long-ranged one, so it's hard for Kisame to even get a shot in.

So I think Deidara gets this one, even if Kisame has a lot more chakra and strength overall.

also Deidara is all about tactics and kisame i dont think really is all about that

Is this 30% Kisame because if it's 100% this just isn't fair given Dei's limits....
so I'll consider 30%.

Dei would win he has more range and more versatility to his attacks he could pack in lots of bombs into a small package and Kisame wouldn't notice (just like Gaara....and like Gaara he'd have the same priceless look on his face)....Dei has the distance advantage and would win...

This seems like quite a tough fight if you ask me.

Both characters are good at what they do. Deidara can hit you from a distance and when he hits you, he hits you hard. Kisame is generally a close-range fighter (from what I recall). The closer you are to him, the more damage he can give you.

Kisame can use terraforming jutsu and can perhaps reduce the damage given out by Deidara's bombs. I don't really know which one of the two can control the battlefield with jutsu, but I know that it is not impossible for Kisame to catch Deidara.

I don't really know what effect the darkness would have on either of the fighters.

I have a feeling that Kisame only needs to use a small number of hard hits to keep Deidara grounded. If Kisame can do that, then I reckon he could win.

It's pretty tough to decide but I'm leaning towards Kisame on this one.

I'm leaning towards Deidara because of his bombs, but if Kisame can hit him, it's all over for him.  I'm sure Kisame has SOME long-distance attacks.

Yea don't worry he does as it goes. If he can get his opponent under water, he has even more.

Its hard to decide a Diedara fight. He has a tactical advanatge against most opponents, yet he's got to have a weakness.

IMO Deidara is the best Akatsuki i have seen so far (yes even better then Itachi). SO i choose Deidara ftw.

Deidara would do just as well against 100% Kisame. 30% means that his chakra is gone faster, it doesn't mean he is any weaker or uses any weaker jutsu's.

why are so many of you underestimating Kisame the guys amazing you saw what he did to team Gai i dought Deidara would do the same...Kisame has shown increadible speed and that he has massive chakra, chakra that is bigger then any other Akatsuki shown so far...

~by the way the thread starter clealy stated that deidara's #18 isint allowed in this battle leaving deidara to a huge disadvantage.....Im giving this one to Kisame..

In my opinion i think kisame would get owned. Why? Mainely because when Deidara and Tobi were fighting the 3-tailed Biiju, Tobi mentioned that this is a water type bijuu so shouldnt they let Kisame handle it, but Deidara replied saying that Kisame was pathetic so i think he was implying that Kisame is one of the weaker Akatsuki members so in conclusion Kisame would probably lose to Deidara. Just an opinion.

Okay seriously though, I think Kisame could pull out a win here. Kisame has the advantage in the water, and Deidara isn't that high up in the air. Add in Kisame's huge stamina, and I think he takes this.

Oh not too mention Deidara would be too entranced with Kisame's smexiness to fight back.

As much as I adore Deidara, I have to say Kisame wins this. Tsunami jutsu FTW.

no way in hell that Dei is stronger than Itachi. when the akatsuki were first introduced and the leader wasn't shown yet, i thought Itachi was!
