Hidan/Kakuzu Reno/Rude?

Anyone else see the similarities?  

Hidan reminds me so much of Reno.  Both are outspoken, vulgar, and undeniably badass.

They even look a little alike:

There would be similarities if the difference in cool level wasnt so large.

That is very true.  They are like the off-brand Reno and Rude.

It is true that they have facial similarities and have a level of coolness.  But that is all they have in common.

This is why I have been saying that Keiji Fujiwara should voice Hidan when he comes in the anime.

Although I wouldn't say that Rude is annoyed easily by Reno... it seems to me that Rude is the more quot;submissivequot; one... I mean, he didn't do shit when Reno stepped on his glasses. XD In fact, it looked like he was about to cry.

But yeah... I've been of the impression that Hidan is the laid-back, obnoxious, arrogant type like Reno (or in a far-fetched way, Axel from KH2... Axel's way of speaking definitely suits Hidan; not his vocabulary, but his tone, though Fujiwara voices both Axel and Reno anyway, so it works out).

Reno and Rude were super-cool anti-villains.

While I like Hidan and Kakuzu, they don't set off my fanboy glands like Reno and Rude.
