estimated KH3 release time game, history, release, because, thread

this thread is just an estimation baised on the history of KH

so lets start of with the progress of kh so far...

2002: kh comes out

2003: kh Final Mix comes out

2004: KH CoM comes out

2005: nothing

2006: KH2 comes out

now you may be thinkin that there isn't going to be a game for nintendo of KH origin but by that time the game will be replaced with the sequel to FFXII which will be released on the Nintendo DS (yes the creator of KH is workin on that as well). and because KH2 FM is scedualed for release this year we can assume that the progress to kh3 will be the same. in other words. the time line upto KH3 might look something like this:

2006: KH2 released

2007: KH2 Final Mix released

2008: (replacing CoM) FFXIII-2 for nintendo DS

2009: none

2010: KH3

anyway I felt I needed to get that off my chest.... Happy flaming ^_^

I don't think they will wait that long to release KH 3. I think that it will get released in 2008 or something.

In regards to your '08 prediction.  Squenix has dropped some hints that we may see some KH game on the PSP.  If those hints turn out to bare fruit then I would expect a side story like CoM on the PSP.  Why PSP instead of the DS?  The answer to that is fairly obvious.  The PSP can handle the same sort of gameplay that we received in KH and KH2.  It would have no need to butcher the gameplay like CoM did.  The DS just isn't powerful enough to handle it like the PSP is.

Considering Tetsuya Nomura (Director + Concept Design of KH) is currently working on FF VS XIII, it will be a while before KH3. Plus I remember him saying in an interview that he wanted to take a break from KH.

2010, that's my guess since FF13 verses is being done by him. But a game on PSP would sucly kickass

idk I think it depends on how much Disney pushes square, from what I hear to Disney is liking the Wii alot so who knows maybe we will see KH3 on the Wii. Wii is capable of great graphics and lets be honust do we really need to see Donald Duck in 1080p?

Great graphics? Yeah last gen great graphics...Seriously KH3 could be on Wii and won't be effected, but will piss some people i know off.

that KH stuff is a PORT of Chain of memories with updated graphics and thats it. They have not mentioend anything else other than that.

also to the main topic creator FFXII -2 for nintendo DS is coming out in japan this year.

KH3 will either be on Xbox360 or Wii i do not see it being on Ps3 ( hence from all the rurmors about it)plus the Wii's graphical Power can go above Xbox 1 so speaking about last gen its basically an upgrade of last gen but not fully last gen ( that does not make sense but im sticking with it)

Wii's graphics = Last gen x 1.5

KH3 has a few more years before we get to have it... so I agree with a 2009+ estimate

Well not yet, no game has looked better then Resident evil RE4 gt;gt; Zelda in terms of graphics and Zelda is the best looking game on Wii which was a gamecube game. So currently it's just last gen graphics, not 1.5 yet.
And Kingdom hearts 3 on XBOX 360? I Doubt this, what rumors? The Wii rumors i hear but 360? Wha

Wow a bit anxious for KH3 it seems.  Well hopefully it's out by 2k9 the latest.

In terms of what the system can do it is a 1.5 above last gen. Plus Sonic and the Secret Rings is so far the best looking game for Wii coming out of the pipe next to Super Mario Galaxy and Metriod Prime 3 ( which is said by to be better looking than halo 2)

FFXI is for 360. but anyway by 2008 there may be another game like CoM for psp like some people said but ma pint is the pattern going on so far

Let's just hope this Kingdom Hearts will actually be DECENT, unlike the previous piece of over-rated, buttonbashing crud.
