Wanderlei Silva, (born July 3, 1976) is a Brazilian mixed martial arts fighter, currently competing in Japan's PRIDE Fighting Championships. He trains under Rudimar Fedrigo at the Chute Boxe Academy in Curitiba, Brazil. He is an expert in Muay Thai and has received a blackbelt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He holds notable wins over Kazushi Sakuraba, Ricardo Arona, Dan Henderson, Quinton Jackson and Yuki Kondo. He is the former Pride middleweight champion and the PRIDE 2003 GP champion, among others.
